Safety is of paramount importance to everyone at AWConstruction. Instilled by the senior management team, health and safety is integrated throughout every project from the outset. All our workforce holds a minimum of following qualifications accredited by Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) as standard: asbestos awareness, fire marshal level two training and three days of full first aid training.
In fact, most of our team have gained much more advanced qualifications and all our site supervisors are accredited with SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training) or SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training) and the required Black CSCS qualifications. In addition, we carry out a full risk assessment on every new project, combined with a method statement, so we protect our team, our clients and the public. Our staff have all recently completed the Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme raising their knowledge about environmental issues on construction sites to the next level.
