This week saw us revisit a site that we had previously carried out works on to enable some wheel timber repairs to be carried out. Having stripped off the original bird protection mesh and cleaned the underside of the bridge our return visit saw us reinstating some new mesh to prevent birds roosting.
The works required the closure of the road around Rockingham Street in Central London and some skilled staff to cut and install the mesh. Several permits and specialised accreditation were required so that the works could be completed with as little inconvenience to the surrounding area.
Our teams are used to working in and around these structures and are fully compliant with using vehicle mounted MEWPS and working at height. The skilled labour we provided meant that excellent health and safety was observed to complete the works correctly and on time.
