We have been carrying out a wide range of services both in the private and public sector for local authorities and social housing operators across Kent and the Southeast. With contracts ranging from planned and reactive maintenance for Hastoe Housing to Disabled Adaptations for Canterbury City Council.
Our years of experience gives us a greater understanding of the challenges and complexities for delivering planned or reactive maintenance within this sector. Our team has the expertise and experience to deliver large scale upgrades, fit outs, repairs, internal and external decoration, window replacement, mechanical and electrical services, and fire door installations.
Our approach minimises any disruption for residents, prioritises their health and safety along with any safeguarding issues, and ensures they are kept informed about the project’s progress and any questions are responded to. This is achieved through our resident liaison officers who are highly experienced and skilled in working on social housing frameworks.
Here at AW Construction our directly employed operatives are easily identifiable when working for our clients along with a fleet of vans that carry everyday stock items often associated with reactive maintenance requirements, allowing for a “First time fix” approach.
We believe that robust aftercare support is essential in providing an excellent service. Every repair we complete is signed off by our customers before the operative leaves. Any issues are managed proactively to ensure we deliver a first time fix, adopting a right first time approach.
For responsive repairs we carry out customer satisfaction surveys to ensure tenants are happy with the standard and quality of service they have received. We seek to learn from complaints, to make sure that as a company we continually improve. We also measure and share compliments our staff receive to make sure we keep doing the right stuff!
