We recently completed a small project on the main line from Dover Priory to London Victoria, a station in the heart of the Kent countryside at Adisham.
The previous waiting shelter was badly damaged in a fire and the existing structure was removed for safety reasons. Our remit was to reinstate the station shelter, albeit on a smaller scale.
The works were carried out safely and consisted of:
- Building new timber shelter
- Painting in standard South Eastern colours
- Roofing works
- Replacing and painting sections of bow top steel fencing
Perhaps not the biggest project we have done during 2023 but it provided a welcome change for one of our teams to work locally to our offices here in Folkestone.
