Completed package of works for our new client CML which consisted of the maintenance and repairs to three different styles of bridge. This allowed us to show case our skills and the knowledge of our staff to our client, resulting in further works being awarded during 2022.
The works across the three structures comprised of careful removal of invasive vegetation, brick and masonry works, all three sites had new GRP handrail systems installed, shot blasting to clear existing paint to prep all existing steel work, repairs to concrete paths, correct installation of warning chevrons to Highways specification.
Any coatings applied to steel or iron structures were tested and certificated to Network Rails standards including:
- Steel work carried out too execution class 3 and NR/CIV/SD/801
- Masonry repairs in accordance with NR/CIV/SD/101 including new Ashlar Stone
- Paint repairs to NR/L3/CIV/039 and NR/L3/CIV/040
- Handrail Specification NR/CIV/SD/370
- M20 Paint Specification
Works carried out over a three-month period headed up by our Project Manager, Anthony Buckley, without incident, delivered on time and within budget. We would like to thank Jake Ford and the team at CML for their support in delivering this project.
