Local Authority Work – Disabled Adaptations – converting more bathrooms into specially adapted wet rooms under an ongoing framework contract with Canterbury City Council.
Working closely with each client our Contracts Manager plans and assist with these adaptations making sure that the needs of each individual are listened to carefully and where possible adapts the bathroom to suit – often coming up with innovative ways to fit everything in!
Living in a home without the right access features is a day that a disabled person is limited by their environment and prevented from going about their life with the ease and comfort that non-disabled people take for granted. We are proud of the difference we make in communities and the positive impact that good quality suitable living requirements can have on tenants’ lives.
Each project comes with its own challenges, adapting sometimes dated pre-existing bathrooms to accommodate modern day fixtures & fittings, changing, or updating electrical supplies, adapting water and waste in & out, careful positioning of grab rails and low-level supports, no two projects are the same.
This is where we excel with these works, taking the time to listen to each client and adapt to their needs, supplying a team of operatives that understand the works and the needs of the client.
If you are a local council, housing association, school or any organisation that requires adaptations to be made to bathrooms, WC’s or welfare facilities then we can assist, working across the UK we have the teams and expertise to complete your projects – do call, email or message any of our staff for further details.
