AW Construction were appointed by UC Build on a subcontract basis to support the development of Waitrose Hythe and Waitrose Horley.
Our services included all Carpentry, BWIC, Groundworks, tiling, externals, walls and ceilings and decorating. We were awarded the standout contractor awards for both these projects.
Appointed by UC Build, AW Construction took great pleasure in undertaking the diverse range of works at Waitrose Hythe and Waitrose Horley. Spanning across multiple trades and disciplines, from soft strip demolition to brick/blockwork, diamond floor saw cutting to drainage alterations, shopfront glazing to external hardstanding alterations, tiling and carpentry, the list goes on.
Due to the programme and nature of some of the works, the planning on this job had to be concise and efficient. Working with continuously running day crews, into night crews allowed both projects to have smooth transitions between normal working hours scope and out of hours scope, with the stores both trading during the works, the requirement for two crews helped get both projects complete in time.
