AW CONSTRUCTION – GUNWHARF QUAYS
White Boxing – Gunwharf Quays – acting as Principal Contractor for one of our long-standing clients we handed over another “white box” unit ready for future occupancy. This is just one of several units that we are working on concurrently at the same site.

Scope of works included:
- Isolation of all incoming services prior to works
Removal of Stud walls, Back-office facilities including bathroom/WC
Stripping back existing plaster boarded walls
Removal of ducting and Air Con services, isolation, and removal of sprinkler system
Removal of flooring and sub floor preparation for incoming tenant
Removal of existing double doors and installation of new shopfront, matching existing frame and brickwork
Disposal of existing fixtures & fittings where necessary
Installation of temporary lights and fire alarm system for incoming tenant
Due to the location of this unit a sensitive approach to the works had to be undertaken and our teams worked to the exacting requirements on site, this included arranging any noise related works to be undertaken out of the shopping centre opening hours to minimise the disruption to the public.
The completed white boxing was handed over on time and within budget. Furthermore, we are on schedule to hand over three further units later this month.
