AW CONSTRUCTION – DEBENHAMS WESTWOOD CROSS

AW Construction – this week saw the start of the strip out of a former Debenhams store at Westwood Cross Shopping Centre – something nice and local for us for a change.
Acting as Principal Contractor for our client Landsec we have been tasked with taking this large two storey unit back to the shell, ready for re-development later in the year.
There are several teams currently in situ , setting up the site, welfare, and offices, performing isolations, and ensuring the whole site is safe and ready to commence this huge strip out
Our Project Managers, Contract Managers, QS’s and further support staff will certainly be very busy throughout what is going to be a very busy 7-week programme. Our experience completing projects in some of the UK’s largest shopping centres ensures that the works will be conducted safely and professionally, working in tandem with the Westwood Cross Centre Management team whilst ensuring the operational requirements of the shopping centre are not compromised in any way.
