AW GROUP – NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK
National Apprenticeship Week 2023 – The focus for this year is “Skills for Life”; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
Here at AW Group, we are lucky enough to have an enthusiastic apprentice that has just started with us.
Joe Faires – Apprentice Electrician – Joe is currently studying City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) (2365-02) at Ashford College. He is currently working alongside our electricians’ covering projects on both construction and rail, gaining valuable real-life skills on live projects.
We continue to look for apprenticeship opportunities within the group recognising the positive impact that apprenticeships make to people of all ages, businesses, and the wider economy.
AW Rail & AW Construction are always happy to engage with schools, colleges, universities on a wide range of initiatives, careers fairs and more, please do get in touch.
