AW CONSTRUCTION – ELECTRICAL SAFETY FRAMEWORK
AW Construction were recently awarded an electrical safety testing contract covering a wide range commercial and public amenity properties across the Canterbury District from historical buildings to sporting venues. One of the first buildings on this framework was Littlebourne Barn, based just outside Canterbury.
All these electrical works are being undertaken by our inhouse team of electricians, enabling us to react quickly to any changes in the framework, but more importantly being able to provide our client with a speedy resolution to any problems encountered.
Littlebourne Barn is a Grade I Listed building and represents a typical Kent barn with thatched roof. Reportedly dating back to around 1340. It’s a sizeable property measuring some 172ft Long and 76 feet wide. It is one of the largest and oldest aisled barns still standing in the country comprising of 9 bays and 2 large wagon entrances.
Under this framework there are several well-known historical buildings within the Canterbury District that we will be working on, and we look forward to bringing you further updates in due course.
Feel free to contact us with any requirements you may have.
