AW RAIL – RISQS AUDIT 2023
AW Rail – RISQS Audit 2023
We are delighted to announce that AW Rail Services has recently passed another successful RISQS audit, demonstrating once again our commitment to providing the highest standards of health and safety within the rail industry.
It’s a huge team effort contributing to the success each year of passing the audit, but the tireless pursuit of our HSE Manager, Ian Purdie, to make sure we all stay “on track” (pardon the pun) during the year is no mean feat and the whole team would like to thank Ian for his diligence and commitment to keeping us operationally safe.
Of course, it goes without saying that we take health and safety extremely seriously here at AW Rail. This latest audit goes to show that our policies, procedures, training programs and more are all up to the high standards the rail industry expects and hopefully we can strive to exceed.
Great news for the whole team – from operational staff in our Folkestone HQ to all the operatives out on the ground carrying out the numerous works we undertake for a diverse range of clients showing that we operate at the highest level.
We won’t be letting our heads get too big over this, our rigorous approach to health and safety, ensuring that every one of our team members is fully trained and qualified, and that our equipment and working practices are always up-to-date wins us business from new and existing clients time and time again.
With the rail industry changing rapidly to meet the demands in quality, sustainability, safety and more, we along with everyone else involved in the business are proud to make sure all our operatives get “home safe every day”!
To move forward, the businesses behind Britain’s railways must work together, not separately. Here at AW Rail, we welcome enquires from all sectors about the works we carry out.
AW Rail Services have been delivering rail projects for several years right across the Rail & Construction sector.
Our extensive rail experience of over 120 years, combining decades of hands-on knowledge, providing building enhancements and maintenance solutions, improving infrastructure for passengers and operators, delivering major projects, and fulfilling long-term maintenance contracts really sets us apart.
Our services are varied from structural maintenance on tunnels, bridges, foot crossings, signal gantries, to station refurbishment, platform enhancements, civils works on and around the track, the mechanism management of lineside vegetation and further afield, painting of all types of structures and lastly but perhaps most importantly the provision of rail labour, not only supporting the projects we carry out for our projects but for the provision of labour to other clients.
