AW Rail Services – East Kent Railway Trust
We are delighted to have found a second use for our track trolleys, and an ideal opportunity to try out one of our bed flatbed vehicles, that have become surplus to our requirements within the company. We dread to think how many miles our operatives might have pushed these load bearing rolling platforms to their work sites whilst out on the track!
East Kent Railway (EKR) relies heavily on it’s volunteer base to keep the site running, maintained and to keep their rolling stock in safe operational order. They are always keen to here from people with experience of engineering, grounds maintenance experience but equally anyone who wants to come along and help maintain this historic line based in the heart of the Kent countryside.
We hope that these trolleys will provide their teams years more service in moving materials around the sidings and main line. If you are interested in volunteering, then do please contact them direct.
