AW RAIL SERVICES – RAIL SAFETY WEEK 2024
We always take the safety of everyone we work with very seriously, whether organising safety stand down days for our staff, conducting safety briefings before works start or engaging with our clients to garner their views on current safety standards, regulations and advancements in PPE or other safety equipment we want to make sure that all those we work with are – “Home safe every day”
This week we join many other companies and organisations in an industry led initiative focusing on rail safety for all. Whether your career lies within the rail industry, or whether you use the railways to get from A to B – safety affects us all. Rail Safety Week aims to bring all aspects of safety to the forefront of people’s minds across a dedicated week.
It’s not just about those that work on the railways, in whatever capacity that maybe but also helping to raise the profile of, and shine a spotlight on, the importance of safety across the UK rail industry, for our workforce, passengers and customers and the wider public.
With Rail Safety Week, here at AW Rail we actively seek to promote the vital importance of rail safety across and beyond the industry to the communities we serve and work in. Helping to prevent accidents, fatalities, and deaths in and around the rail infrastructure, in rail premises and in all rail related workplaces – “Building Safety Together”
Everyone sees things differently and the importance of knowing and following the rules is a collective responsibility, and every voice and action counts. So, let’s continue to work together, learn from each other, and build a safer, stronger future for our industry.
AW Rail Services have been delivering rail projects for several years right across the Rail & Construction sector.
Our extensive rail experience of over 120 years, combining decades of hands-on knowledge, providing building enhancements and maintenance solutions, improving infrastructure for passengers and operators, delivering major projects, and fulfilling long-term maintenance contracts really sets us apart.
Our services are varied from structural maintenance on tunnels, bridges, foot crossings, signal gantries, to station refurbishment, platform enhancements, civils works on and around the track, the mechanism management of lineside vegetation and further afield, painting of all types of structures and lastly but perhaps most importantly the provision of rail labour, not only supporting the projects we carry out for our projects but for the provision of labour to other clients.
