AW Construction – University Campus Works
We continue to support Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) with a variety of works that make the campus surroundings more appealing to the students using the facilities across the universities many sites in and around Canterbury and further afield at other sites within Kent
Over the summer holiday period we completed several refurbishment projects on student accommodation ready for the new term to begin. Our teams are currently on site carrying out a variety of works to further enhance the universities many assets, buildings and grounds.
- New shelving in student rooms
- Privacy screens in shower blocks
- New kitchenettes
- Fencing
- Shower Pods
- Other general maintenance as required
At the start of this new term saw the infamous colour run take place within the grounds of CCCU and we provided some temporary covering support to the external walls so that students could enjoy this festival of colour. Judging by the photos sent into us they appeared to have a very colourful time!
Having our team onsite allows us to react very quickly to any issues that require attention across the university’s large portfolio of properties. Our team are well versed with the layout of the university and are trained specifically in safeguarding issues for works carried out within educational surroundings.
