One of our teams has been sent across the The Swale to the Isle of Sheppey this week as we start a project for a new client at HMP Elmley.

We will be carrying out a wide range of works at HMP Elmley  but in the main:

• Removal of old conservatory
• Installation of new conservatory
• Repairs to brick and block work
• New guttering and drainage
• Decoration of internal areas and exit doors
• Installation of new air conditioning

During the initial surveys for the works, we were asked to protect and leave insitu the existing flooring, however, after closer examination we realised that the floor had past its life expectancy, and due to other works and flooring stock we have recovered from previous strip out projects, have donated a new flooring solution for the conservatory.

This has been a huge team effort to see this project start, from our resourcing team putting our operatives through the clearance processes for works within the Prison Service, bid writing and estimating, procurement and allocation of resource to finally getting boots on the ground and starting works at HMP Elmley.

We look forward to completing this project and undertaking further works for our client within the prison sector.
