Many of our staff undertake a wide range of fundraising activities during the year and we have in the past through the generosity of all involved raised lots of money for various charities, both locally and nationally. But it’s not just our staff that give up their time to help others, family, friends and colleagues also freely give up their valuable time in support of a wide range of fundraising activities.

This year Danielle Stokes, the wife of our Rail Manager, Jason is taking part in the London Marathon in April and will be raising funds for Phab.

Phab is all about promoting inclusion and integration for people with and without disabilities. Through their network of clubs and projects, they bring children, young people, and adults together to have fun, make friends, and build a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive, regardless of ability.

The London Marathon is no mere run in the park and Danielle is training hard with her friend Laura to make sure they are both fit enough for this gruelling event through the streets of London.

Danielle is also hosting a fundraising event and 80’s disco night at The Dugout Bar on 8th March and tickets are selling fast – there have been some generous donations of prizes so this is an evening you’ll want to attend and boogie on down!
