The Great Big Green Week 2025, scheduled from 7th to 15th June, is the UK’s largest celebration of community-led action to combat climate change and protect nature. Organised by The Climate Coalition, this annual event aims to unite individuals, schools, businesses, and community groups across the country to demonstrate their commitment to a sustainable future.

What Is the Great Big Green Week?

The Great Big Green Week serves as a platform for communities to showcase their efforts in addressing environmental challenges, especially when they are in a working collaboration with AW Group. Helping these local communities and promoting actions that reduce carbon footprints and enhance local ecosystems is at the heart of our sustainable initiatives. The overarching goal is to inspire collective action and signal to policymakers, our clients, suppliers the public’s demand for robust climate policies and change.

How to Get Involved

Getting involved in the Great Big Green Week is straightforward. Individuals and groups can host events in their local areas, such as community clean-ups, sustainability workshops, or eco-friendly fairs. Resources are available to assist organisers, including guides on event planning, fundraising, and media outreach. For educators, and we have several schools that we collaborate with,  the Great Big Green Week offers a wealth of resources to engage students of all ages in climate action.
