AW Construction Achieves Gold Level Membership  Supply Chain Sustainability School

AW Construction has reached a significant milestone in its journey toward embedding sustainability into every aspect of our operations by achieving Gold Level membership of the Supply Chain Sustainability School. This recognition demonstrates our commitment to improving our environmental, social, and economic performance while aligning with the broader aims of the UK construction industry to deliver a more sustainable built environment.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a collaborative initiative that brings together contractors, suppliers, and clients across the built environment to share knowledge, resources, and best practice. It provides free training, e-learning modules, and workshops on key issues such as carbon reduction, modern slavery prevention, circular economy, equality, diversity, and inclusion. Membership levels are awarded—bronze, silver, and gold—based on engagement with the school’s learning materials and the implementation of sustainable practices within an organisation.

By attaining Gold status, AW Construction has demonstrated not only its active participation in the school’s resources but also its ability to apply this learning across its projects and business operations. The achievement signals to clients, employees, and stakeholders that the company is serious about tackling the challenges of climate change, resource scarcity, and social responsibility.
