WEST NORWOOD STATION

During Week 4 of 2025 we were engaged by our client to carry out some minor works to West Norwood Station under a 27-hour possession to carry out some vital enhancement and safety works to the station building windows. With this station sitting on the main London Victoria/London Bridge route it was essential that all works were carried out within the possession window.

With the relative tight access on the Platform 1 we had to coordinate with our scaffolders to erect a suitable tower and safe working platform for our window fitters to enable them to replace the old windows to a more modern standard and regulations.

We supplied:

• Safety Critical Staff  (Supervisor and COSS)
  Coordinated Scaffolders for safe erection and strike of scaffold
  Oversaw the installation of new windows (toughened glass) and frames
  Clean and tidied site

Working closely with our client and our supply chain the works were carried out to a high standard, completed on time and with no issues. The possession was handed back on time and this minor enhancement to the station building reflects the works we carried out.
