DEBRA CARPENTER

I have been working in Administration and Recruitment for many years and in 2019 had the opportunity to make the move into the construction sector.  Initially working for a main contractor, focusing on hotel refurbishments I have now joined the team at AW Construction.

Making the move into this sector has been the right decision.  Everyday has its own unique and interesting challenges, being a very fast-paced environment there is always the opportunity to get involved in new projects, expanding my expertise and skills within this sector.

Overseeing a wide range of duties from authorising time sheets, holiday leave, booking hotels, supporting our social housing clients and covering a wide range of other duties to my colleagues.

My main drive is to help others.  It gives me great satisfaction to support our office and site teams, delivering tasks on time and enabling others to deliver quality services, and projects with a first rate customer service.

Since my start in early 2025 the team here at AW Construction have been very supportive and great fun, making  the hard work you do is truly appreciated.

Outside of work you will find me swimming or snorkelling in lakes, sea, rivers and pools.  My friends and I have swum the odd 5K and 10k sessions and we aim to travel to as many watery destinations as we can.
