I started with AW Construction several years ago as a business administrator and have since progressed to Office Manager.
My skills & ability have allowed me to progress within the company, meaning my responsibilities and management of the tasks assigned me has increased as AW construction has grown.
I oversee all aspects of the office, from administration duties, delegation of works, project cost allocation, project management of our reactive maintenance repairs contract for Hastoe Housing and all the finer details in between within a busy office environment.
My skill set is used widely: I am a strong typist, professionalism shines through when liaising with clients, suppliers, and staff. Organisation and time management is a key skill ensuring my work is done in a timely and efficient manner. Working under pressure to meet deadlines in the fast-paced world of construction is a challenge I relish.
My construction knowledge is expanding daily, and I thrive on learning new aspects of the industry to help better my career, my working environment and being a key member of the team here at our HQ in Folkestone.
In June 2024 I am taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge with some of the team here at AW Group.
