As Rail Manager, I oversee all elements of projects under the contracts and project managers, working alongside the MD, HSQE Advisor, and Ops Manager. Promoting AW Rail to new businesses and liaising with new clients face-to-face and over the phone.
Started off in 2014 as a general PTS op assisting with projects on the ground. I looked to branch into the railway after obtaining electrical qualifications at college with the view of becoming a railway electrical engineer. Headed in another direction towards H&S and project management.
Currently running Arch Management Project (Arch Repairs): CIRCA £1m per annum projects; Southern Structural Integrity Works: CIRCA £2m per annum; and Safety Critical Labour Supply: £500K per annum. Along with the AW Corrosion HCE Survey, circa £200,000 per year.
Rail Experience:
10 Years: PTS, DCCR, or AC
6 Years: Level A ES/Level B Strap
8 Years: COSS, PC, CP
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors
Mental Health First Aider
Other Experience as an AW Construction Site Manager: CSCS Black Card, SMSTS, PASMA, Full First Aid, Fire Marshall Level 2, Duty to Manage Asbestos, SEATS, and Manual Handling.
