AW Group – Works Update – Despite the heavy rain this morning the sun finally appeared for us over the AW Group HQ here in Folkestone just as we concluded our usual Monday morning team meetings for the plan and projects taking place this week.

Across both rail and construction, we continue to thrive, our existing project frameworks show no sign of easing up and we are winning more and more work across the Southeast, London and further afield.

As our business grows so does our workforce and we are often being asked to provide the same people and teams for repeat works due to the exemplary way in which our operatives conduct themselves and carry out the works they are assigned to.

Across AW Construction we are carrying out several frameworks for EICR testing, social housing works both in the private and public sector, continue to support schools and colleges with facility management services, frameworks for national refit campaigns show no sign of slowing down, despite the slump in the retail sector. Working across the UK and within a stone’s throw from our offices at significant sites like Eurotunnel.

Within AW Rail our specialist brickwork teams continue to excel at the projects across the rail network, carrying out repairs from simple road bridges, to arches, tunnels, all the way through to iconic structures like Ouse Valley Viaduct. With major civils projects being undertaken for the installation of lift shafts at stations, providing specialist teams to clients for structural integrity surveys and simple station building maintenance our decades of hands-on knowledge within the rail sector shines through time and time again.
