AW GROUP – COMMUNITY RECYLING
It’s always encouraging to see how people use the waste materials that we seem to accumulate from all our projects across the rail and construction industry into community recycling projects. Our segregation of waste means that we always have material that is prefect for using within local communities, schools, volunteer run clubs etc.
Timber has always played a huge role in the construction process and our works within the strip out sectors means that we get an awful lot of perfectly good timber back at our yard which can be repurposed into all manner of things.
When you receive photos and thanks from small communities like Longfield & Westbury Allotment Association and see how they are using timber to create their allotments and grow food is all the more encouraging for us and instils a positivity within our workforce to rescue and recycle even more waste materials from site.
If you are a local organisation, charity, school, college, “mens shed” , volunteer group etc and are in need of materials for your next project please do get in touch with us and we can see how we can redirect even more waste away from landfill and back into the economy.
You can see just a few of the many projects, including community recycling, that we have been involved with locally and to where our works take us here: Social Value Projects
