Our teams that complete works as part of our varied Social Housing clients have been receiving tremendous feedback for the quality and professionalism in the way they conduct themselves in and around the tenants’ homes.

Having won two tenders, one for DDC and one for FHDC earlier this year, and with our ongoing works for clients like Hastoe and many more this further strengthens our position within this sector.

The works that we have completed so far have ranged from small maintenance tasks right through to large roofing projects. These contracts are overseen by an experienced team of Project Managers, Site Managers, Procurement and resource teams here at our offices in Folkestone.

No two days are the same within this sector and our PM’s are kept busy delivering these work packages for our clients, but also ensuring we build great rapports with the tenants, residents and other stakeholders whom we come into contact with daily.

Recent works have included:

• External works to 3nr plots complete (full scaffold, and external brickwork stabilisation and  rendering to 2no, repointing to 1nr, and associated brickwork repairs, cleaning and rainwater goods replacement to all 3.  Client and residents complimentary regards site teams and finish.
• Works to low level communal block of flats in New Romney, (full scaffold, external brickwork stabilisation, repointing, lintel replacement to external cupboards, external window trims, replacement soffits/fascia’s/gutters and various decorative items along with cleaning down/repair of all rainwater goods, windows doors and meter cupboards)  – customer happy with progress and site team.
• First tranche of 5 properties in Sandwich – scaffolding and raking out and repointing to all elevations, wall tie survey and replacement, rebuilding of chimney stacks where required, installation of weep vents where missing, brickwork repairs – customer impressed with site team and residents very pleased with both finish and site team.

Our programme of works is building nicely for the coming months and our teams will be dotted around East Kent carrying out more works, we will be commencing the installation of scaffold, raking out and repointing to a low-level block of maisonettes in St. Margarets-at-Cliffe, Dover which should present a decent challenge for all involved in the coming days.
