It is with great delight that we have been able to hand over the completed science labs project to The King’s School this month after an incredible six months of being on site. A period which we hope will add to the special character of the 1400 years of The King’s School history and enable the next generation of budding scientists a place to learn, develop and discover.
The complex refurbishment of the science labs within Parry Hall would not have been possible without the dedication of our on-site Project Managers and Site Mangers along with our inhouse team of talented trades people.
Backed up by a dedicated team here at our offices in Folkestone, overseen by our Commercial Manager, Tim Smith, we have enjoyed every minute of being on site and seeing this project come to fruition. Working in tandem with the school’s senior staff and estates team, architects, planners, sub-contractors, and other third-party suppliers the result will have a lasting impact on our staff and have a special place in our works portfolio – the reinstatement of The Mint Yard is visually stunning.
We will be putting together a comprehensive case study on the works carried out here at the school and our time working within Canterbury, a Unesco World Heritage Site, it certainly had its challenges and we have learnt a lot which will see us well placed for future works of this type, especially within the education and heritage sectors to which we have already received several positive enquiries. Please contact Greg Mckenzie for further details.
We work on many projects across the historic City of Canterbury and beyond, from the modern to the old, do please get in touch with us to find out more on how we can supply both the private and public sector.
