‘White boxing’ a premises can be stressful and time-consuming for an existing tenant or managing agent. However, it has significant benefits when attracting a new client into a clean and fresh workspace or commercial unit, where they don’t have to bear the cost to reinstate a blank white boxed unit.
At AW Construction, we specialise in white box works for a wide variety of clients throughout the Southeast and across the UK and have become renowned for our swift and proactive attitude. It’s an approach that has helped us deliver dozens of projects as a business, combing a mixture of new and repeat business across the construction industry.
With our directly employed, highly skilled and experienced staff, including Project and Site Managers, Surveyors, procurement teams and our on-site specialists, we can quickly react to a client’s instructions and have been known to be on-site at short notice.
Our in-house teams or specialist sub-contractors will undertake all the required works. These might include adaptions to concrete floors, forming timber or metal stud partitions, installing mechanical and electrical services, drylining and plastering, suspended ceilings, floor finishes, lighting, storage areas and shop front installations. In addition, power and data sockets can be installed in the desired locations to suit the unit and scope layout.
Whether you have a single unit, two units sited next to each other opened to provide a larger space, or a larger unit split individually into smaller units. We can adapt to each individual site requirements, something we see more and more of within the ever-changing commercial sector and projects we are completing for many large shopping and commercial centres where they realise that brands/clients no longer require the traditional larger spaces of yesteryear.
Utilising our secure storage facilities here in Folkestone, we can look after our client’s requirements for any specialist fixtures and fittings or any materials they may have sourced direct whilst we undertake the works on site, keeping them safe and clean.
We have made a name for ourselves on the way we engage with our clients and their sites and are always happy to work with any existing incumbent contractors for the reinstatement of/for temporary lighting, security, fire, and sprinkler systems. Alternatively, we can offer our services with all works carried out by our qualified staff using approved and appropriate materials and methods.
